AARON BITERMAN
WAUKESHA COUNTY (WI) COORDINATOR

Aaron Biterman's passion for libertarianism is inspiring. As Waukesha (Wisconsin) County Coordinator for HB2000, Aaron's has been instrumental in promoting our candidate. These efforts are in addition to his responsibilities as an Executive Board member of the Metro Milwaukee LP and as a volunteer for Tim Peterson for US Senate.

He is a strong advocate for equal and fair media coverage for all Libertarians, often writing in support of Carla Howell, John Clifton and Barry Hess, candidates for US Senate outside Wisconsin. His reasoned and passionate letters have been addressed to the Washington Post, the NY Times, USA Today, CNN, FNC, Gallup Polls, Hardball with Chris Matthews, The Late Show with David Letterman, the Teamsters, Netscape, the Commission on Presidential Debates and many others. He encourages his volunteers to copy these letters, sign their own names, inundate these organizations and demonstrate the appeal and newsworthiness of our positions.

Aaron also has compiled a list of Internet sites where volunteers can register their vote for Harry Browne or otherwise petition for inclusion if the site has omitted him from their polls.

Harry Browne frequently encourages us to identify how people's lives will benefit from the implementation of libertarian positions. Aaron takes this strategy to heart. He recently appeared on Wisconsin Public Radio to protest a local curfew law. For Aaron and his peers, these laws represent an erosion of their individual liberty. (Aaron is seventeen years old.) We are very fortunate to have Aaron on our team. His articulately represents the concerns of youth alienated from the political process. He is able to mobilize others to demand fairness and freedom from government regulation and intervention.

We are excited to think about the heights he will reach should he continue to pursue a career of political activism!
